A fanart for the Dragonlance Universe - books by Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman. This scene actually never took place (for what we know at least...?) but I love it. Would Tas succeed in his endeavor? I believe he did. The castle is, of course, the cursed Dargaard Keep.
Tas is my #2 favorite character in the Dragonlance Universe.
The idea of Tasslehoff pickpocketing Lord Soth came from my friend Marz Reed, so this painting is dedicated to him!

This illustration was shared with the Dragonlance Nexus and chosen as front cover for the new Manual "Tasslehoff's Pouches of Everything", a DnD 5th homebrew rules ed. bringing Dragonlance to the new edition of the game. Several other my artworks are featured there, and on the Dragonlance Nexus website. A wonderful project - a dream come true, working together with the fan club of Draconlance.

This illustration got some amazing comments on other social media. Here I quote some of the ones I love the most:
•Margaret Weis - I love it!!! Thanks for sharing!
•R. B. - The Knight of the Where Did That Rose Go?
•A. G. - Lord Soth is lucky someone is nice enough to pick up something he dropped. I am sure it would be very hard for Soth to keep track of things in that big clunky suit of armor. We all need a kender in our hmm... ‘lives’.
•rudywiser:
“I’m gonna pickpocket the dark lord.”
“Cool, you’re gonna die. Roll for it.”
“Natural 20!″
